Air Show

We have been looking forward to this event for a while. The Air Show. I missed in Chicago for the past 2 years and I wasnt going to miss it here. It was so much fun.  It was at the Miramar Air Base and they had so many aircrafts for you to check out.  Umair and Haseeb got to sit in the cockpits and ride in the back of paddy wagon for Border Control, that was funny.

I know it is getting chilly everywhere, but here we needed to be hydrated and apply sunblock. It was 79 degrees in San Diego. Can not complain! =)

Amazing stuff going on at the air show, I think I was in awe more than my kids. The Blue Angels were amazing.  The aircrafts and equipment that the US Military has is mind blowing. There was this one airplane we saw for the Navy. It was a beautiful plane. I asked the officer what it was used for.  It was a Submarine detector and destroyer. They throw sonic detectors in the water and they can exactly pinpoint a submarine and take it out. Lovely! 

The kids were funny they were interviewing all the officers they saw.  We stood at the cockpit of a F-18 Hornet, amazing plane, it can go faster than the speed of sound and then some.  Umair and Haseeb had a million questions for the pilot! and so did Majid. haha!

After walking around on the tarmac and looking at the airplanes we headed over to see the Blue Angels. Those pilots are insane they are coming at each other at like 700 mph and then turn to their sides and pass each other.
